I wrote about the Fresh Air Fund a few months ago. This is a really neat ministry in which inner-city kids are matched up with families who live outside the city for a summer vacation.

Sara Wilson, the outreach coordinator of Fresh Air, contacted me recently with some really exciting news. A group of individuals has pledged to match every dollar donated to the fund in the month of June. How cool is that?

Tax deductible donations have to be made before June 30 in order to count for matching funds. You can get more information about this fantastic ministry at their website. Did you know the Fresh Air Fund has existed since 1877? And over a million children have been served by the program. Amazing.

If you live in one of the states served by the Fresh Air Fund, you can volunteer to host a child. If not, your donation is still tremendously appreciated (and matched! in June!!)
