TechnoBoy and The Mercenary were discussing the fact that the neighbor kids have a much nicer in-ground swimming pool as compared to our above ground temporary one, yet they don’t swim in it very often. My boys are in the pool daily, and The Mercenary commented that if he had a pool that nice he’d be swimming in it for 2 hours every day. TechnoBoy one-upped him, saying that HE’D be in the pool for four hours a day, from lunch until supper.
Then TechnoBoy nodded sagely as The Mercenary stated, “Well, they don’t have as much fun in the pool as we do. They don’t have little brothers.”

What a blessing to have brothers! You can’t beat that. Though they may squabble at times, all in all, considering how much time homeschool kids spend together, generally they do very well. Teaching them Christian values is so very important. Your boys look healthy and happy… and they also look like they will keep you very busy. Blessings to you…
Hi Lori, Thanks for the compliment! Yes they keep me busy but that keeps me out of trouble. I’m thrilled that they get along as well as they do; my own younger siblings and I did not fare as well until we were adults.
Great article! I’m proud to say that even my loving son of age two years too spends his leisure time in his luxurious in-ground swimming pool. It’s awesome that my husband teaches swimming for him during the weekends.
