Encouraging Heroes. You can be one too.

Now is the time of year when high school seniors are finalizing their college plans. We’re still several years away from college, but it’s something I think about quite a bit. I was very interested when Dan of College Scholarships contacted me recently to mention a couple of web sites that are quite useful.

The first one is College Scholarships itself. At this site, you can search US colleges by state and category. There are links to scholarship pages, educational resources, and much more.

The second site is Online Degrees and Scholarships. This site is similar but devoted completely to online education. Did you know it’s possible to get your college degree completely online these days? Yep. Go figure. It’s amazing how far the Internet has come in so short a time. One point that’s quite important is to make sure your degree program is properly accredited. The site covers that clearly, along with listing degree programs and a list of resources similar to the first site.

All in all, both sites have plenty of information for prospective college students and their families. Good luck!
