When there’s too much to do, that’s when you scream, right? Okay, maybe that’s not the best choice. I guess we’ll go with option two: buckle down and focus on the ol’ ToDo list. There’s actually been some progress there, and that’s encouraging. We’ve got some craziness over the next several weeks with soccer and Scouts and family activities. It’s enough to drive any parent batty!
I knew a family once with kids in the middle- and high-school range, and the parents were just run RAGGED with all the activity. “That’ll never happen to me” I thought.
Ha.
Well. I do hope to not be ragged and not complain about the busy-ness between now and the day the boys head off to college. But we’re definitely, ummmmm, well scheduled. Yeah. That’s it. Well scheduled. Between the boys’ activities, school, and my several hours a week in physical therapy (oh yes, I’m STILL healing from that silly fall in January – can you believe that???) we’re all moving pretty fast here. Which reminds me, it’s time for school to start.
Gotta go crack the whip around here! I’m thinking fondly of you, Internets and will write more soon.
OH yes! I did write a post over at GNMParents (now ForeverParenting). The twin rivalry has been heating up around here, yikes.

Earnest Parenting: help for parents with too much to do.
Hi, obviously the way you are “scribbling” your thoughts is indeed a portrait of a busy person. Take busy schedules as blessings because those complement your energetic personality and physique. Time will come when you will just watch at the wayside and enjoy watching the vitality of youth. Great writing talent you have.

Hi Henry. Yes, it seems like we’re very busy now. I hope that when life slows down, we’re all still feeling energetic around here.
