Joe Rawlinson has written the book “Dad’s Guide to Twins: How to survive the twin pregnancy and prepare for your twins“. I really liked this book!
You know. Because I have a little bit of twin experience.
Just a little.
🙂
Anyhow. Joe is the father of four children. He had two sons aged 3 and 21 months when his twin daughters were born. This man has a little experience with babies. His book is filled with sage advice on preparing for multiples (no, you don’t need to buy 2 of everything…just some things) and surviving the pregnancy in general.
At under 150 pages, this book was a quick read for me and I enjoyed it completely. Frequently I laughed out loud in recognition of the truths Joe was sharing. Ahhhh, memories!
Moms who are expecting twins will greatly appreciate this small volume as well, as Joe made sure to get his own wife’s input on how best to be a helpful dad during that time.
The book has plenty of humor and real-life stories, and Joe is very honest with readers about what to expect. Let’s face it: having twins is a lot of work. The first year in general is exhausting! In both cases, the first year is a bit of a blur for me. (Sorry, boys. That’s why we took pictures. I think.)
If you know a couple expecting twins, this is a great book to give to the father-to-be. He’ll be much more prepared and able to navigate life with the advice and experience this book offers. You can find Dad’s Guide to Twins on Amazon.com (note, this is not an affiliate link).
